Hmm, since I’ve updated this blog I’ve been to Fiji for 10 days, Vietnam for 2 months and multiple trips about and around my state, I should get around to updating this blog again some day…

Probably should fix all the links to missing pictures too, damnit.

I wouldn’t usually do this since I like to reserve this blog for pictures of my travels, but it has been such a beautiful start to summer that I just have to post a few pictures from the beach in the recent months. It has been such a spectacular start to the beach season you’ll have to excuse my indulgence with a few pictures from the last couple of months at the beach.

Headed to Singapore over the weekend to catch up with my relatives and once again strain the waist line of my already strained jeans.

Unfortunately it was too hot and sticky to wear jeans, so I had to stick to straining the waist line of my boardies, and oh did I ever!.

Let’s cut to the good part, food!

Fortunately the timing of my trip managed to coincide with the JJJ AWOL concert held in Karratha on the 18th of August. The lineup was The Grates, Muph & Plutonic and Powderfinger.

Unfortunately I got distracted by some fine alcoholic beverages just down the road so only got to the venue in time to see the last two acts, The Grates and Powderfinger .. But who cares, it’s Powderfinger!!

Just a word to the wise, don’t try jumping on hedges, it really hurts when you fall through the hedge and tear yourself apart with owies! Also, Beer, Donnelly River Port and Strawberry Daquri’s do NOT mix well.

After we left the Montebello Islands, we cruised back to Dampier to stay at Rocco’s shack in Keogh Bay, West Lewis Island. Now I’ve been lucky enough to stay here a few times before, but every time I’m at the shack I’m once again blown away by the experience. This shack, and I use that term very loosely has everything! Hot water, flushing toilets, fridges, freezers, satellite tv, a desalination plant, it’s the ducks nuts of shacks as far as I’m concerned!

After my trip to NZ to go boarding was canceled by a dear friend breaking his leg before the trip, I was faced with an uncertain future. A future without a holiday! In dire need to change this situation I found myself booking a flight to Dampier to catch up with Zacariah.

This Easter break I headed off to Melbourne with Damyon for some socialising, football, drinking and good times…
